  Challenging More Able Pupils in English

This course is a must for all English teachers who would like to explore strategies and resources to challenge the more able pupils in their classrooms.

Course Aims:
• To provide a wide range of strategies and activities which will challenge and stretch
• To demonstrate how these strategies will significantly improve exam results and help pupils attain the highest levels/grades
• To offer approaches which will encourage pupils to become more independent learners
• To show how the development of thinking skills can enable more effective learning to take place
• To deliver the course in an interactive, hands-on style

This course is designed for English teachers, however, it will be of considerable use to all teachers, TA’s etc who teach literacy in any shape or form.
