From ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ – Achieving the Grade 1 Ofsted lessonPrintEmail

'Good to Outstanding' whole school INSET has been completely reworked / rewritten to suit the new OfSTED guidelines July 2009!

What makes a lesson ‘Outstanding’ instead of ‘Good’?

Can teachers develop a repertoire of ideas, structures and strategies to deliver this level of performance regularly?
The answers to these two questions will be delivered in an exciting, active and inspiring training day that will leave your colleagues ‘tooled up’ with everything they need to deliver the outstanding lesson. Our experience of training several thousand teachers tells us that the best INSET:

• Is utterly practical
• Demystifies and deconstructs the jargon for busy and hardworking colleagues
• Does not do pointless role play or pointless group work
• Does not do ‘Death by Powerpoint’
