Very interactive and were all involved. It raised and dealt with issues I hadn’t thought of and I found it tremendously informative.

It is indisputable that technology is changing the world at an ever increasing pace. Our students learn, socialise and operate in a multimedia rich digital environment that is getting further and further from the traditional classroom. The result of this is that many students are switched off in lessons and their learning is suffering. This course is aimed at teachers who want to tap into this new world and it will consider what these new technologies are, such as twitter, blogging, Facebook, webcams, Web 2.0 and now Web 3.0 and how they can be used to enhance learning. We will consider collaborative learning, using the school’s VLE to maximum effect and ways of embedding technology into everyday practice Delegates will leave with ideas and activities that they can use in their classroom the very next day.
