Here at Dragonfly we offer only the highest possible quality of Interactive whiteboard training. It's hands-on not a demonstration and is of the highest possible standard. We have a variety of IWB trainers who can come to your school and deliver either full day / half day or even a twilight session.

The aims of this course are to:

• Provide the ideas and software you need to create engaging class activities that can be used with any brand of board.

• Equip teachers with ready-made lesson materials for the whiteboard. The course CD-Rom contains a wealth of digital resources to use in your school.

These include:
- A selection of subject specific lessons for the interactive whiteboard
- A collection of essential utilities and subject specific software
- Links to the best subject specific websites in the world
- Follow-up tutorials to remind delegates of all the activities learnt on the day

• Provide you with the knowledge necessary to make the most effective

 

This course includes:

• A CD-Rom containing a wealth of lesson materials, demo/free software especially suited to the interactive whiteboard and website links

Price on application

This varies due to the numbers of staff being trained, the length of session required etc...
Then we provide IWB training on a whole day, part day, twilight or rolling contract basis.

COURSE OUTLINE
Session 1
• How to use an interactive whiteboard in the classroom
• Specific lesson activities that can be created on a whiteboard
• Hands-on session 1: getting familiar with the tools at your disposal for creating interactive lessons
Session 2

• Ideas and activities to add interactivity into your subject specific lessons: here the trainer demonstrates the numerous ways in which the whiteboard can be used to inject colour, movement, sound and greater interaction into your subject specific lessons.
• Using specialist subject specific software with the whiteboard: guidelines to help you choose software that works well with the whiteboard
• Hands-on session 2:
creating these lessons yourself to develop experience in the use of an interactive whiteboard through practical exercises including: starters, puzzles, quizzes and games
Session 3

• The internet and how to use it effectively: the internet and the interactive whiteboard are perfect partners. Here the trainer reviews some of the latest internet technologies and demonstrates how to use them in your lessons
