COVID 19 UPDATE: Week beginning Monday 9th March


Dear Dragonfly customers,

In light of the current COVID 19 outbreak, we would like to reassure schools and teachers that we are currently continuing as normal with our venue-based and in-school bookings and events. However we are keeping a close eye on developments and will be keeping you updated here on a regular basis - and we will ensure that all our decisions are made in line with government guidelines. Our priority is always to operate in the best interests of our schools and delegates.
Updated Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event of enforced cancellation of any Dragonfly training - either by individuals, schools or Dragonfly - please note our updated conditions. We will of course do our very best to accommodate as we know school budgets are always tight and these are unusual circumstances.
UK VENUE-BASED COURSES:
In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a venue-based course by Dragonfly or if delegates are instructed by their school to cancel due to COVID-19 - we will transfer your place to a future date (for the same course) at no additional cost. Please note that Dragonfly will not be liable for any pre-paid travelling costs (including flights for international delegates) in the event of a cancellation. So we do recommend that you avoid upfront bookings of public transport or flights where possible. In order to make it easier for our delegates to drive to our venue-based hotel courses, Dragonfly will reimburse all parking costs for the day. Please contact our venue-based department to arrange this. All our hotels have secure parking either at the hotel or very near. Details will be supplied with your booking confirmation.
INTERNATIONAL VENUE-BASED COURSES:
In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a venue-based course by Dragonfly or if delegates are instructed to cancel by their school due to the COVID-19 - we will transfer your place to a future date (for the same course) at no additional cost. Dragonfly will not be liable for delegates' travel, flight or hotel costs. Please note that Dragonfly will not be liable for any pre-paid travelling costs (including flights for international delegates) in the event of a cancellation. So we do recommend that you avoid upfront bookings of public transport or flights where possible. In order to make it easier for our delegates to drive to our venue-based hotel courses, Dragonfly will reimburse the parking costs.
UK IN-SCHOOL COURSES:
If your school has to close or if for whatever reason you need to cancel your in-school training due to concerns over COVID-19, then we will transfer your booking to a future date at no extra cost (subject to trainer availability). However, schools will be liable for pre-paid hotel, travel or parking costs if cancellation is not possible . From now on, it will be our policy to book hotels and travel with free cancellation included and we advise that schools do the same. INTERNATIONAL IN-SCHOOL COURSES:
If your school has to close or if, for whatever reason, you need to cancel your in-school training due to concerns over the COVID 19, then we will be able to postpone your booking to a future date at no extra cost. Your school will however be liaible for any pre-paid flights, hotel, car park, UK travel, visa or printing costs. From now on, it will be our policy to book flights, hotels and transport with free cancellation included were possble. We would advise international schools to do the same.
