About this course

The WriteKey is a whole new approach to the teaching of creative writing that really does unleash children’s imaginations. You will discover how to help pupils to start, shape and finish a story as well as raising their own expectations of what they can achieve. The WriteKey has already inspired hoards of children to obtain Level 6, many of whom hadn’t shown any interest in writing before. It also inspired Estyn, who rated the course as ‘Sector Leading Practice’.


The course will give teachers:

  1. Ten simple but highly effective and ‘sector leading’ ideas on how to improve the creative writing of pupils of all ability ranges in Years 3-9
