The need to ensure that the wellbeing of our students is fully understood and effectively supported has never been greater. All of our learners are currently experiencing significant changes to their home and school-based learning environments. It is vital that we help them to flourish in this shifting landscape.
We know that approaches to improving and sustaining wellbeing in school and at home must be cohesive. Both in and beyond the classroom, schools must be able to provide programmes of guidance that equip students with the knowledge, mindset and skills to move from simply surviving to truly thriving.
This course offers a series of practical strategies that will help students to develop and maintain positive wellbeing. Highly effective approaches to prevention and intervention are covered in depth so that educators can enhance the wellbeing of every student.
“I was delighted with how Matt had tailored his content to fit within the duration of our session and had included some specific topics as requested (the notion of 'recovery curriculum' we had explored with the staff the previous day). Matt was very engaging and his style of delivery was entirely appropriate, particularly as he was (online and) unable to 'read the room' as in a live context”
