This course is designed to provide ideas, strategies, and support for whole-school leaders who desire to influence a curriculum and establish a culture within their schools that will help pupils develop the necessary skills and mindset to thrive in school and in the unpredictable territory beyond school. The course offers participants a clear understanding of the necessary academic and pastoral principles to achieve this, and strategies to ensure a successful whole-school launch. It includes research and theories on the importance of creativity, critical thinking, resilience, grit and growth mindset; it also provides guidance on how to plan and successfully implement a whole-school initiative. During the course, participants begin the process of drafting their own strategic plans for implementation in their own schools.
