An Introduction to an Inclusive Curriculum - Bespoke Training

camera icon About our

THIS IS A BESPOKE COURSE, THAT CAN BE RUN IN YOUR SCHOOL AND WILL BE TAILORED TO YOUR EXACT NEEDS.

Why is decolonising our curriculum important?

What practical steps can we take to make our curriculum diverse and inclusive?

How can we create engagement pathways for every member of school community to be involved in this process?

Teachers are considering ways to respond to calls for curriculum change in the wider context of debates concerning equality, diversity and inclusion in UK schools and academic institutions. Considering the content and rationale for what we teach and how we teach it is an important part of this process.

This 3-session course will open engagement pathways for teachers to consider these issues in a way which both personalises these issues for students within the classroom and establishes the basis for long-lasting, meaningful, change in approaches to planning, preparation and delivery of diversified curriculums.
